The 3rd party I went to was a house party hosted by a dear friend of mine. She is a Halloween nut! Its her favorite holiday where she is known for your parties every year. Luckily she has a garage to be able to store all the bins of halloween decorations she puts up every year. This is the kind of friend that would really appreciate a halloween gift for christmas!
This year I took a date with me. A new, adorable guy I’ve been seeing for the past month. Its always interesting to introduce a new person in your life to your friends or family… I’m not sure who is more anxious about it…him or me. Its not the end-all but their opinions can be important.
So you’ve begun to get to know a person one-on-one, but what happens when they are in a social setting? Do they try to interact with your friends? Strike up new conversations? Can they carry a conversation? Will they find him as funny and endearing as you do? Do they feel comfortable with you not by their side the whole time?
I’m sure every person is different in this situation and have their own preference of how they would like their date to be. But as the photos attached portray, it was a great party and he did exactly what I preferred! At times stayed by my side, talked and laughed with my friends, could go into another room and hang out without me, and of course comfortable providing me with some sweet kisses every now and then. Perfect.
I know Tamera has a story for when she took a guy to a party with her once…maybe she’ll share! : )

I’m glad to see your guy passed the party test!
My story was not quite the same. I was once dating a guy who I took to a party and he turned into a quiet mouse and this was NOT a halloween party. He was painfully shy and stood by himself when not with me. Unfortunately, it was a total turnoff for me. Years later I saw him at a friend’s party and he was happily married to a beautiful quiet mouse.
for sharing your story… : )
I love the purple veil, definitely the most theatrical version of your witchy-ness. Love it, and Kristin, you look sizzling! And if my in-laws hadn’t been in town trying to bust up the party spirit, I would have been there too! Love costume parties.
