A New Lifestyle in a New Area

I recently moved from Los Angeles (mid city area) to Santa Monica. What a dream, I am 6 blocks from the beach.

It’s the kind of area that I need to pinch myself that I actually live here. Not to say traveling to a Caribbean island isn’t beautiful, but the only problem is I only saw that when I took a vacation. I can have this everyday!

If you know the area, where Venice and Santa Monica meet, there is an adorable street called Main Street, lined with shops, cafes and the well-known Farmers Market every Sunday. Its a very active area, where people are walking their dogs, or riding their beach cruisers… its almost magical. At least thats how I see it..I have to wonder, if anyone actually works around here! On any given hour, on any given day you can roam the area and people are out and about like its a Saturday afternoon. I guess alot of people around here dont have 9-5 jobs… that can only be my guess.

There is something to be said for being single in an area that is active. In the little over 3 weeks that I have lived here I have met more people than in my previous neighborhood for a year! People are laid back and friendly, just how a beach town should be. I think there is definitely something to be said for living in an active area when you are single.

It will be interesting to see what stories I will have when wearing a SingleTee® in this area. I am looking forward to sharing.

Check out my photos and two little videos.

How did you ever ride your bike and video at the same time – especially in traffic. Looks great and am anxious to see more and also hear the response to the Singletease T.
